Transfer and ended up in seg for a month

My son finally got the transfer he wanted. He's now only 2 hours from home. After being there for only 1 week, he got into a fight and they put him in segregation for a month. I'm worried they may transfer him somewhere else because of this.

    Good news! He will be staying at his current prison. He also informed me that they had a ceremony with cap and gown for everyone who earned diplomas. I feel truly blessed to have a picture of him in his cap and gown. That's something I thought I would never see. And this will be the only picture of him during his 7 years of prison time. They don't allow pictures in the Illinois prisons so I am beyond grateful for this.
