Thank you both so much my husband is a Correction Officer and doesn't want me putting money because this is the second time and he works hard .I'm talking care of my mom haven't worked in a year. it's really hard my son suffers from mental illness I have more to share about this .I went and saw him waiting for tranfer

I'll add him to my prayers. My 20 year old went in 12 days ago for a year long sentence. It has been so heartbreaking. I talk with him every day and make sure to keep money on his phone account so that he can keep calling. He knows he is loved unconditionally and he says that gives him strength. You're not alone here - this site is full of heavy hearts. My heart truly breaks for all of the moms here whose sons are in for very long stretches. I know that multiplies the agony exponentially.

No words can ease your sorrow or pain, but know that you and your son are in the prayers of so many other parents here. Stay in touch with him as often as you are able and keep strong in your faith - this site is a place where no one is alone.
