Looking for information Bristol County

Does anyone know anything about the Ash Street Jail in New Bedford, MA/ Bristol County?

My son has a chance to put in for a transfer there and he seems to think it might be a good change.  Up until this time, he has always commented that he hoped never to be sent there.  So hard to know.  Any comments would be appreciated. I will get to see him tomorrow for the first time in almost 6 weeks.  I miss him so much.

    Thanks Patty,

    My son is still in Bristol County in North Dartmouth also, for the most part he was Ok, got along well with the CO's and inmates.   But now he was moved to a very hard core max unit and not doing so well.  I visit on Mondays if you ever want to meet up.

    My son is in Bristol County House of Corrections in North Dartmouth. I'm sorry I don't know anything about Ash St. I've always heard Bristol Cty Jail was terrible, but he is treated well there. You never know the experience until you experience it! I think that's the best advice I can give.
