Just trying to cope and want to say thank you

Hello Everyone 

I have joined a while back , but I have really never been able to say much, still cant.

I do want to say thank you to everyone here and to everyone who has wrote to my son Traivs ,he is so very greatful

\to have recieved cards letters, he told me this on mothers day,, when I finally made the 914 mile round trip visit to see him. He is doing well and my heart still aches everyday,as yalls do for your own. I am in Abilene Tx and he is in el paso Sanchez unit,if there is anyone else form here please let me know,maybe we could support each other,,I know i am lost without him. 

Thank you all for being here and everything you do.

    Bless you moms that are so far away from your dear children. I complained about a four hour one way drive. I realize how fortunate I really am.

    I am soooo sorry for everyone, yes mine was 1000 round trip,,and now i could kick myself for not going sooner! I joined this group months ago ,,and havent been able to do anything with it,,but everyday it has been on the back of my mind,, its just too sad,,but aftewr seeing him and hearing him talk about the cards and letters he got,,it helped me,,,I truley thank you all!

    id do it a million times over! now i feel sooo much guilt for not doing it sooner! I m going back or im seriously thinking of just moving there for this fight. Having him that close and in my arms was such a feeling of peace. Now the hurt starts again. thank you everyone and prayers and hugs to you all!

    I know it had to be a sacrifice to travel that distance but a travel well worth it. So happy you were able to make the journey.
