I am leaving it in God's hands

My son Joseph has now been home for about 3 weeks and I am so tired of stressing myself out because he knows and I know he needs a program and I do not feel he is really trying to get into the program so I had to sit him down and tell him look I am not going to keep nagging and pushing him about the program he knows he has 2 strikes and can not mess up for nothing if he chooses to not go and get right there is nothing I can do he is 24 and I do not think I can handle both of my boys being locked away forever but I am killing myself with stress and I can not keep doing it he knows what his consequences will be so I am backing up a little and leaving in God's hands and I pray every night that what ever he chooses to do that he can handle the consequences God bless everyone and may you all find the strength you need to make it through each day

    I have got to tell you all God has answered my prayers for my son Joseph, he is in a program I am so happy I will tell you I had to push the mom weight around but he is in there. My son along with myself were calling and calling and calling no return calls so I took my son to the parole office and we waited and we waited and we waited 3 hours go by and my son is about to throw in the towel he said mom lets go and really he had not wanted to be there in the first place so I said UM No I walked right into the office told them I was Joseph Garcias mom and would like to talk to his parole officer in kind of a firm voice and I was amazed at how quickly the man was out of his office my son was mad telling me I am grown etc etc etc and I just smiled and said tell the man what you need or I will but because your a grown man I am going to let you speak if you are going to if not I have no problem doing it for you so needless to say my son is in a program HOORAY HOORAY

    Thank you Sandra Beals I greatly appreciate your prayers and yes Joeseph is in control of his life and it scares me that he is not as concerned as he should be but as I say I can not do it I just stay prayed up God bless you and yours
