I am hoping that by this time tomorrow my son, Andrew, will finally be safely home in his bed. He has been transferred from Hagerstown to a Baltimore prison for release around 6PM, but you know there can always be a glitch. Pray for us as we transition to our new normal all over again. Pray that he can stay away from old friends, old habits, and especially the drugs that sent him to prison in the first place. Pray that he is determined to make a new life for himself. Thank you, dear friends, for being by my side these past 20 months. I have needed you, felt your love and support, and depended on your wisdom. I will post our success or failure tomorrow. Sending love to all of you and your children.

Andrew was released Monday, June 29 at about 12:30pm. Praise God!
He got to spend time with his dad and then came home. We went out for a Sushi dinner to celebrate! He had a hard time falling asleep last night, but when he finally did, it was a good, deep sleep.
We've spent the day today sitting in the probation office for intake and then shopping for necessities - toiletries and clothes. Got assigned a probation officer whom Andrew must meet tomorrow morning. So the endless array of appointments and waiting for processing begins. One day at a time. One good day at a time.
