Driving is the worst for me. That is when my mind goes to everything we could have, should have done. What we didnt see (drug addiction), why didnt we see it... All the "what if's", Why didnt we", ect... Then the tears start rolling and its hard to breathe. Im still in shock. THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING.

I can only tell you, I know your pain. It’s been 10 yrs next month that we were thrown into the life of addiction, rehabs, jail, halfway houses, then State Prison. Today as my son, just celebrated 2 yrs sober, our situation has improved. But it is still one day at a time. Sometimes one moment at a time. And I do not ever pretend, that in an instant it could all change. But by the Grace of God, Michael has chosen sobriety, and did whatever he had to, to stay clean while incarcerated. ( not easy) And he has stayed on that path, and works a strong program. Hang in there.

Hi Cherayn, As you go through this valley, I pray that you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone.
Hi Cherayn,
Try to take it one day at a time...we're here for you.
Prayers go out for you and your family.
