I CONE TO REALIZE THAT A MOTHER WITH A SON IN PRISON , THERE WAS NO OTHER PERSONTHAT WOULD BE THERE FOR YOU , MY SON , BUT ME , WHEN PEOPLE TURNED THEIR BACKSYOU , WALKED AWAY FROM YOU , OR THE MONEY RAN OUT , I WAS THERE FOR YOU WITH LOVE.WHEN THERE WAS NO LAWYER TO HIRE , OR NO ONE ELSE SHOWED UP TO STAND IN YOUR CONRNER ,I SAW THAT YOU KNEW , WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT THAT I WAS THERE FOR YOU UNCONDIONTALLY.I OFFERED YOU WHAT SEEMED A VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS , DEPENDABLE , COMPASSIONATE , STRONG ,NEVER - ENDING FOR YOU , MY SON .I AGRUED TO BE YOUR VOICE , HOPEFULLY AN EFFECTIVD VOICE , ON THAT PLEAD SHAMELESSLY FOR YOURSAFETY , I OFFERED A A VOICE THAT SPOKE FOR YOU , MY SON , I CRIED OUT TO GOD WHO LISTEN ,THIS IS A MOTHERS VOICE .WHEN YOU FIND YOUR SON IN A SITUATION AS THIS ONE , AND HE IS IN A VERY VULNERABLE POSITION .IT IS YOUR VULNERABLE POSITION . IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO SEE THAT HE HAS SUPPORT,MENTALLY ,EMOTIONALLY , AND SPIRITUALLY MOST FAR MOST . LOOK AROUND THE ROOM , EVERYONE HAS LEFT , THEREIS NO ONE BUT YOU . THIS IS YOUR SON !We should not consider age , gender , circumstance , or expect for anyone else to step up to the plate ,He is a part of us . He was our responsibility then when he was a infant and could not care himself , andHe is ours now .Sometimes inside us automatically we step into the role of caretaker . We step in front of the line aheadOf everyone else . No other can do it like their mother , it is done with tender loving care , to perfectionBecause of our love , he's our son , or daughter.So many times on a number of I assigns you see freedom for your son , or daughter , you see him / herWALKING THRU THE GATES OF THE PRISON AND YOUR STANDING THERE WAITING FOR HIM ,THEN THESCENE CHANGES TO HIM AT HOME WITH ALL THE FAVORITES FOODS ON THE DINNER TABLE AND HE ISENJOYING A GOOD HOME COOKED MEAL .THST SCENE CHANGED TO HIM TAKINB HIS FIRST WARM BATH AND LAYING DOWN IN A NICE CLEANBED THAT YOU SEE MADE UP PERFECT FOR HIM .A CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM IN THE BACK OF YOURMIND , WHAT YOU HAVE GONE THROUGH AND WHAT YOUF GOING TO DO FOR HIM WHEN HE GETS HOME .SUCH A WARM WELCOME FOR HIM AS THOUGH HE IS RETURNING FROM A LONG FIGHT IN THE MILITARYWAR . WHY NOT CELEBRATE , HE FINISHED THE COURSE , HE SERVIVED , HE PASSED TBE TEST , HE MADE IT .YOU BEEN THERE FOR HIM EVERY MINUTE , EVERYDAY , EVEN HIS DAY , OF RELEASE YOU WANG TO BETHERE NOT REALIZING UNTIL IT HITS YOU , THAT THID YOUR RELEASE DAY TOO. WORDS WILL NEVERBE ABLE TO EXPLANE OR CAPTURE THAT MOMENT IN YOUR HEART WHAG YOU FEEL . THE PAIN LEAVES ,THE WISDOME SETS IN ALONG WITH EXPERIENCE . NOW AND ONLY NOW THE DOVE INSIDE OF HIM ANDTHE EAGLD INSIDE OF HIM IS RELEASED ....... GO FLY .BLESSINGS UPON ALL , ELAINE
You are correct , I cannot visit my son ever , due to illness , but he knows my love
and voice are here for him , yes, we are all here to support one another , but
through my own confinement I have learned to support all families with my voice
The homeless ,the poor , the lost , they all need our support , those that have no
families , those that have cast their child aside , never give up on a person no matter
what for God has never given up on us , hugs
It is sad however to think of all the inmates who don't have that "Mother'sVoice". I remind myself often my son is one of the lucky ones-a mothers love has no boundaries.
wow..thank you so much..although this just brought tears to my eyes because it is truly how I feel everything I visit my son..it warms my heart to know other mothers feel the Se way I do..
