Thank you for all of your comments. It helps a lot to know that I'm not alone. My son suffers from ADHD, OCD, Tourette Syndrome ( although he's outgrown most of the TS symptoms) and bipolar disorder. I took him to many doctors and made sure he was medicated his entire childhood but he rebelled when he graduated from HS by going off all meds. He has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals at least 7 times. As he gets sicker and sicker, his resentment of me grows. He is in prison for breaking into my home early one morning, pulling me out of bed and assaulting me. His imprisonment has not only broken my heart but it has torn my family apart. Thank you so much for allowing me to share my story.
